Yesterday I saw a movie named 300. Excellent movie with superb effects.
This is the second movie for which my heart beat doubled. First movie is Lord of the rings and second is 300.
The story is about a war between 300 soldiers and 10000 soldiers. These 300 ppl were excellent trained warriors.
Movie is based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller’s (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.
Excellent direction with very good special effects and some animations(very near to reality) are the special attractions to the movie. The way they stop enemies and the strategies of war are superb. I became a fan to the movie and this became one of my favorite movie.
My first step today is, joined in 300 community in orkut. There are 2900 members already in the community and most of the ppl are rating it better than Lord of the rings.
